Overview of Role:

Are you detail-oriented and ready to take on a pivotal role in finance? Accountancy Matters is seeking an Accounts Assistant with a focus on Payroll. This role encompasses various responsibilities related to payroll processing and record management.

- Payroll Processing: Efficiently process, post, and edit new hires' payroll information.

- Issue Resolution: Aid in troubleshooting and resolving any employee pay discrepancies.

- Client Communication: Maintain contact with clients to investigate discrepancies and proactively resolve any payroll-related issues.

- Record Keeping: Manage and organize payroll files, ensuring accurate record-keeping for compliance.

About You:

- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role or office environment, desirable if studying AAT in Bookkeeping or previous payroll experience.

- Experience: using Xero Accounting is beneficial.

- Interest in Accounts: A keen interest in accounts and a strong desire to learn.

- Transport: Own transport, within 20 minute’s drive of Hartley Wintney, Basingstoke.

- Software Skills: Sage Payroll and/or Brightpay.
