Overview of Role:

Woodcote Park Golf Club, in Coulsdon, Surrey, extends a warm invitation to members and visitors alike. With convenient access from the M25 and Central London, our Club provides an ideal retreat to savour an array of culinary delights amidst captivating vistas of the golf course.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team, where you will be instrumental in upholding the highest service standards for our members, guests, and clients while leading our dedicated Food and Beverage team.

Key Responsibilities: 

Hospitality Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for members and visitors.

- Manage the lounge bar, dining room, and other hospitality areas with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

- Delivery of club events and social occasions.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and energize the hospitality team, ensuring excellent people management and fostering a positive work environment.

- Be highly visible and hands on in service.

- Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting a customer-centric approach.

- Responsible for Chefs and working collaboratively with the Head Chef and other team members to enhance overall service quality.

Member and Guest Experience:

- Understand and cater to the needs of members, guests, and clients, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure an excellent dining experience complementing the well-stocked bar.

- Demonstrate strong communication skills and an analytical understanding of the hospitality industry.

Financial Collaboration:

- Assume responsibility for effective cash and stock management, including management of budgets and payroll.

- Cultivate and manage relationships with both existing and new suppliers to ensure quality service and favourable terms.

- To develop and deliver long term strategic business development of the clubhouse, bar and catering functions in collaboration with the General Manager.

About You:

- At least 3 years of experience as a manager in the hospitality industry, preferably within Private Member Clubs.

- Live or be willing to relocate within 30 minutes of Coulsdon.

- Energetic team leader with excellent people skills.

- Genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
