Overview of Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead Chartham Park Golf Club. The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in managing golf, health, and fitness facilities, with comprehensive P&L responsibility and accountability across multiple revenue lines. The role requires an ambitious and innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, your talent and commitment will be complemented by our specialist support functions.

As the General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Operations Director, your responsibilities include,

- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to all club operations.

- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and financial reporting.

- Facility Management: Ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, offering exceptional experiences for members and visitors.

- Member Engagement: Foster a welcoming environment and engage with members to understand and meet their needs.

Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver excellent service.

- Business Development: Drive revenue growth across all areas of the club through innovative marketing and service offerings.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

About You

- A minimum of three years management experience in the golf, health, and fitness industries.

- Ability to engage with members and deliver exceptional customer service

- You possess polished leadership and coaching skills.

- Confident in driving sales and increasing membership subscriptions.

- A hands-on management style.

You live or are willing to relocate to the East Grinstead area.
