Wickham Park Golf Club, a welcoming and vibrant club near Fareham in Hampshire, operated by Crown Golf. The Club offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of community among its vibrant and active membership. The parkland course provides an engaging experience suitable for golfers of all skill levels, complemented by a state-of-the-art 12-bay covered Driving Range, perfect for both learning and improvement. The inviting clubhouse serves as a focal point for members, providing a delightful space for lunches, social gatherings, and business functions.

We are recruiting a dynamic General Manager to join our team. As a key player in the success of our club, you will oversee profit and loss, drive revenue, enhance member and club experiences, manage food and beverage operations, and ensure top-notch golf course maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Profit and Loss Management: Take ownership of financial performance, budgeting, and cost control for your golf club.

- Sales Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, membership, and other revenue streams.

- Member and Club Relations: Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere, ensuring exceptional member satisfaction and strong relationships with local communities.

- Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the planning, execution, and enhancement of food and beverage services, maintaining high-quality standards.

- Golf Course Maintenance: Collaborate with course management teams to ensure impeccable course conditions and adherence to maintenance schedules.

- People and Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

About You:

- Proven management experience in the golf or hospitality industry.

- Strong financial acumen and experience managing profit and loss.

- Demonstrated success in driving sales revenue and implementing effective marketing strategies.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on member and community relations.

- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
