Overview of Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to cover maternity leave for 14 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales across functions, memberships, and golf events, while leading and developing a team of sales executives.

This role requires a confident, results-driven individual with strong business acumen and the ability to create a positive working environment.

- Achieve Monthly Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets for functions, memberships, and golf business.

- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the team of sales executives to achieve the required KPIs and results.

- Revenue Maximization: Maximize revenue potential and yield through confident price presentation and strategic business practices.

- Staff Development: Induct, train, and provide continuous development and feedback for each sales executive.

- Sales Activity Management: Champion all sales activities, including prospecting, follow-up calls, and venue tours.

- Team Collaboration: Build a rapport with Heads of Department and fully understand all aspects of sales from weddings to golf memberships.

- Leadership Role: Be a key member of the club’s leadership team and contribute to creating a great working environment.

About You:

- Two year’s experience in a sales management role within the hospitality, leisure, or golf industry.

- Strong understanding of sales processes and modern marketing methods.

- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required.

- Have your own transport and live within thirty of minutes of Walton on Thames, Surrey.
