Sales Executive for a leading Golf and Leisure venue in Surrey!

Burhill Group, a leading Golf and Leisure operator in the UK are recruiting a Sales Executive to join the Sales team based at Hoebridge Golf Centre near Woking Surrey.

Facilities include a gym, three golf courses, a floodlit driving range with TrackMan, adventure golf and function rooms.

The Sales Executive will work within a team to take the lead for the selling of memberships (golf and gym) and golf days, together with supporting function sales.

Salary of £25,000 pa, expected 1st year earnings of  £30,000 OTE.

About You:

- One year’s experience working in Sales in Hospitality/Events/Golf/Gyms

- Good communication skills.

- Be driven by your ambition and results.

- Work flexible hours including weekends.

- Have your own transport and be no more than 30 minutes from Woking.

Overview of Role:

Based in the sales office you will be responsible for the customer sales journey from initial enquiry, through to the membership sale, ensuring the new member is embedded in our Club and maximizes their use of the facility.

- Achieving monthly sales targets across multiple revenue streams.

- Handling customer sales enquiries from start to finish of meetings, events.

- Maintain a good knowledge of all our products and services, actively upselling to our customers.

- Maintain an accurate customer management system and follow up at specified times.

- Understand customer needs and maintain accurate information to provide an accurate and competitive quotation.

- Monitor market trends and competitors.

- Help with marketing and sales initiatives.

- Working to retain members through quality service and initiatives.

- Conduct customer show rounds.

- Obtain customer feedback through follow-up calls .

- Be prepared to be hands on in the set-up and delivery of weddings/events/functions.
