Overview of Role:

As receptionist at our Bed and Breakfast facility, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and developing our hospitality services. Your responsibilities will include responding to all Bed and Breakfast enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to potential guests. You will liaise closely with the Events Team to manage exclusive use bookings, ensuring all details are seamlessly handled for a flawless guest experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing arrival and departure reports, preparing registration cards, and issuing castle vouchers to enhance our guests' stay.

In this multifaceted role, you will greet guests with a warm welcome, check them in efficiently, process their payments, and address any general queries to ensure their satisfaction.

• Respond to all Bed and Breakfast enquiries.
• Liaise with the Events Team to ensure exclusive use bookings are managed.
• Manage the Bed and Breakfast diary, process bookings, send confirmations, and organise special requests.
• Coordinate Play and Stay Packages with Hever Castle Golf Club.
• Greet guests, check them in, process payments, and address general queries.
• Assist with luggage handling and storage as needed.
• Liaise with third-party booking agents.
• Follow up on guest feedback.
• Assist with drink service from the small bar offering.

About You:

• Excellent communication skills, written, face to face and on the telephone.
• Experience in a similar hospitality role is advantageous.
• Customer-focused with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Have your own transport and live within a 30-minute drive of Hever Castle, Edenbridge.
• Available for weekend work.
