We are currently recruiting for a Wedding and Events Sales Manager to join our flagship location at Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club, situated in the beautiful Kent countryside near Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and drive sales for weddings and events at one of the region's most prestigious venues. As Wedding and Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional sales results, ensuring that each wedding and event is a unique and memorable experience for our guests.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Wedding and Event Sales Manager to actively promote our exceptional facilities at Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club within the local community. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and showcasing the club as the perfect venue for weddings and events.
Your attention to detail will be key in delivering seamless events, from conducting tours to meeting prospective bookers and ensuring that all event details are managed meticulously. You will be diligent in following the sales process, ensuring that each interaction is professional and productive, and that every event is executed flawlessly.
Your role will involve providing leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting a positive example in terms of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism, and driving the department towards meeting its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively convert prospects to clients through inbound inquiries and lead generation from networking, business development, and marketing activities.
- Be a key member of the club’s leadership team, contributing to the creation of a positive and productive working environment.
- Build strong rapport with Heads of Department to ensure clear, detailed, and effective communication, especially regarding weddings and events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop a coordinated sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the corporate strategy and covers all sales areas.
- Ensure all sales team members consistently deliver outstanding service levels, maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries across all channels, providing accurate quotations and information on costs.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of Wedding and Event contracts, ensuring clarity and mutual agreement.
About You:
- Two year’s experience in a Wedding and Events sales position.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and modern marketing methods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
- Have your own transport and live within thirty minutes of Dartford, Kent.
