Matthew Dixon Starts as Club Manager at Strawberry Hill

Strawberry Hill Golf Club, the historic nine-hole golf club situated in the leafy Twickenham suburb of Strawberry Hill, is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Dixon as its new Club Manager. Matthew brings energy and expertise as he joins the club at a time of continued growth and strengthening community engagement.

Founded in 1900 and carefully designed by five-time Open Champion J. H. Taylor, Strawberry Hill remains a compact yet challenging course beloved by golfers of all levels.  Under Matthew’s management, the club will continue to deliver high standards across its core offerings: welcoming members and visitors, running society golf days, and hosting functions in its clubhouse. The club also upholds a strong commitment to inclusivity and beginner-friendly golf via its “Get Into Golf” programmes and other community-oriented initiatives. 

In addition to overseeing daily club operations, Matthew will play a key role in enhancing guest experience, continuing the club’s legacy of hospitality, and supporting the club's long-term vision for growth and community engagement. Strawberry Hill looks forward to this next chapter under Matthew’s stewardship.
