Package & Benefits:

The role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum and includes a one-bedroom flat with rent covered, bringing the total package to circa £40,000.

- Contracted hours, 40 hours per week

Position Overview:

As Deputy Clubhouse Manager, you will play a key direct role in supporting the Clubhouse Manager with the day-to-day running of all food and beverage operations, ensuring services and events are delivered smoothly and to the highest standards. You will lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional service and genuine hospitality, consistently maintaining high service levels and ensuring every interaction with members, guests, and visitors reflects the welcoming ethos of the Club.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, motivate, and train the team to agreed service standards, ensuring rotas are appropriately staffed to meet the needs of all scheduled activities.

- Manage stock ordering and control, including cellar management and regular stock takes, while consulting with suppliers to maintain product range and maximise profitability.

- Maintain all public areas to a consistently clean, tidy, and presentable standard.

- Always ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.

- Collaborate closely with the Clubhouse Manager to ensure the smooth planning, staffing, and delivery of all events.

- Work alongside the Head Chef on menu development, ensuring offerings meet member expectations and staff product knowledge remains up to date.

- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence in the Clubhouse, leading by example during daily service and events.

- Ensure all members and guests receive a warm welcome, with enquiries and complaints managed promptly, professionally, and courteously.

About You:

- A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience within a hospitality environment.

- Confident and professional, with the ability to operate comfortably in a premium setting.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to service.

- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of the normal working pattern.

- A live-in position is desirable.
