We are recruiting for a Sales & Events Coordinator
Set within the magnificent estate of Hever Castle & Gardens, Hever Castle Golf Club offers one of the South East’s most unique golf and hospitality destinations.
Surrounded by historic estate landscapes and featuring a stunning 27-hole golf course, the club combines championship golf, outstanding dining, events and wellbeing experiences in an exceptional countryside setting.
With a proud heritage dating back to the Astor family in the 1920s, Hever Castle Golf Club continues to deliver memorable experiences for members, visitors and guests alike.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and organised Sales & Events Coordinator to help drive the continued success of our thriving golf and hospitality operation.

Overview of Role & Person:
Work as part of a small team in our busy sales and administration office and be responsible for generating golf day and event revenue.
The role requires you to drive sales, ensure there is detailed event administration and be proactive and hands-on with operational co-ordination to provide successful and memorable events to all clients.
You will oversee the full event process from enquiry to on-the-day delivery. Your ultimate aim is to establish Hever Castle Golf Club as a venue with an outstanding reputation for its golf and event experience.
Golf knowledge an advantage but not essential; full training will be given.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to all golf day, society and event enquiries via telephone, email and in person.
- Generate new golf day and event business through proactive sales activity and relationship building.
- Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and event packages to maximise conversion opportunities and revenue.
- Manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to final event delivery and follow-up.
- Co-ordinate all event administration including booking confirmations, function sheets, invoicing and customer communications.
- Liaise closely with the golf operations, food & beverage and hospitality teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct venue tours and client meetings to showcase the facilities and promote the Hever Castle Golf Club experience.
- Support the planning and operational delivery of golf days, corporate events, functions and social occasions.
- Ensure all clients receive exceptional customer service and a memorable experience throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate booking records and update internal systems and sales trackers accordingly.
- Assist with the promotion of golf events and seasonal offers across relevant sales channels.
